Devos girls

Today the girls, along with Victoria, came over and spent the day with us. We had such a good time playing indoors and visiting. It was so great to catch up. 

Snack time

After a bunch of running around the kids are usually ready for a snack and short cartoon before Ev's nap. Cooper's palate  is wide open when he eats with Ev, except this pic of him trying a green grape. He did a great job of putting it in his mouth but just couldn't bite down. :)

Playdate

It was so kind of Stephanie to invite Ev and I over for a play date with all the kids.  She loved dress up, the microphone, and most of all the Anna and Elsa dolls! Hint, hint Santa;)

Smith Kids

Saturday night we had Chloe and Cooper spend the night with us so Hollie and Jason could enjoy a date night for their anniversary. After a quick snack we went to the park across the street to play. We ended up going on a nature walk and found all sorts of treasures the kids could stuff into their pockets: walnut shells, leaves, rocks and pine cones. I have no other pics from the rest of the evening. Pluegers came over for our weekly get together. The kids had my phone most of the night taking pics and making videos until it went dead. 

Chloe found Grammas outfit in the cedar chest and put it on to model for us. 

Sunday after breakfast these two wore me down and I finally gave in. Yes they got ice cream after breakfast at 10am! Isn't that technically brunch time anyway?! HaHa

Masters of the Universe

They love playing with Rich's old toys. They put the saddles on the panthers, put the good guys on, and go catch the bad guys. Which entails a lot of running around. 

Miracle park mischief

When a certain two year old red head keeps looking back at me, telling me to not follow her and scurries off you know she's up to something. Sure enough I was right. I found this:

Papa K called while we were at the park and Ev talked to him. She told him she was at the park, had bare feet, and running from Brigett!"

Special Treat

Today I got a special treat and was able to spend an extra day with Ev while Andrea had a meeting and Gramma Coco is in Arizona. We had gymnastics class this am and the above pictures sum up how our 45 minutes went. Lots of giggles, squiggles, and a little bit of paying attention to teacher Jill with her favorite buddy, August. Afterwards, we had a lunch play date at Smiths with Hollie and Cooper. A busy and fun day :)

Catching the bad guys

After playing downstairs and "catching all the bad guys" the kids were ready for their customary snack and cartoon. I laugh more and more each week when these two get together. I can't wait to see what shenanigans they will put as teenagers;)

New to us park

After preschool, I told Ev that we were going to meet Hollie and Cooper and the rest of the moms group at miracle park. Ev was excited and told me she'd never been to that park before. She enjoyed herself so much. She ran all around for 90 minutes! Then she told me she was hungry and tired so we ate a quick snack and headed home. It was so fun to still be outside playing at a park, without a coat, on November 3!

Happy Halloween

It's been many years since Tyler has dressed up for Halloween but here he is at 19. Thanks to his friend, Josie, for helping him design and make his costume.
