Full of surprises

After a fun play date with Coops, Ev did something out of the ordinary and actually napped in her bed. I waited for her to get out of the range of the camera but she surprised me today and stayed in bed the whole time! 

Together again

After eating lunch and playing downstairs we made our way back up for a snack and a little more playing before nap. 

Super Day

Everlee was happy to be back with the boys today. At one point they were jumping off the step yelling...super Everlee...super Cooper...super TJ and laughing. Lots of laughing. 

Real life play

After nap, Ev was playing preschool with her Ariel and Prince Eric Dolls. She was pretending her dolls were two of her classmates, Teigen and James, and they were having lunch time. They were eating hamburgers and she asked them "Do you want BBQ sauce on them from Tyler and Michael?" It was so super cute.

These pics sum up our afternoon together. With gloomy weather outside these three kept it sunny and full of mayhem inside. Hollie and I love every minute of it:)

Weekend with Everlee

Ev has been talking about having a sleepover at our house for a while now and we finally got to cash in on it this past weekend. Friday night we enjoyed being outside at the park across the street and following a bunny around the yard. Saturday was a fun activity filled cousins day with Chloe and Cooper. Ev told me her favorite part was jumping on the trampoline with Cooper. Then Sunday was alot of indoor activities which included coloring and lots of pretend play. You can never play too much Malificient and Aurora;)

Friday night demo

Tyler did a demo in Storm Lake Friday night. He said it went well and say a bunch of people. Of course Scott, and a few other friends had to check it out and let us know. 

Sisterly Love

When your big sister won't share the toys with you just sit in the toy box on the toys. 

And when your little sister won't stop touching your toys just put all the toys on the counter.....everyone's happy!

So happy to be outside again

After preschool it was off to Miracle Park to play with Cooper and TJ. Then after nap it was outside for more playing in the backyard. Ev even wanted to eat her snack outside at the playset. She was excited to have Daddy unpack the shed of all her toys. Both of us are looking forward to more outdoor activities this spring. 

Remembering Marv

One year ago today My husband lost a father and my son lost a grandpa. Celebrating all the "firsts" without him was difficult. Fortunately we have all the fond memories to keep his spirit alive. You are truly remembered and missed not only today but everyday. 

A wonderful Monday

I haven't been to Ev's new gymnastics class until today. I'm used to being on the floor with her and participating but now I'm just a bystander(although I did get a few waves up to the balcony.) The girls followed in a line, sat quietly, and waited turns patiently. Afterwards we enjoyed a play date with Cooper and Hollie. It's so fun to witness their gender differences and styles of play. Hollie and I crack up everytime. Everlee just wants Cooper to listen to her and Cooper just wants to play with no talking. 

The weekend

The guys weekend was very eventful as well. They enjoyed helping Deadeye with set up, go karting in Grimes and Saturday evening the grownups went out to Firetrucker Brewery and The Bear. 

Fun Friday

Cooper sat like this the whole time watching in the mirror as Jerry cut his hair. He's so cute and quiet but once we got to Sweet To Eat for a bakery goodie he knew just what he wanted...a cookie with blue frosting and sprinkles. 

Afterwards we went to watch Alicia Krier perform for the All Iowa Honor Dance Team at the girls basketball tournament. Hard to believe she's a senior and this will be our last time watching her perform. 

Fun Day

Hollie brought cookies over for the play date. Ev had way more fun decorating and licking the frosting than eating the cookie. The kids had the absolute best time today playing! Ev was so excited that Cooper played prince and princess with him!

After supper, Ev was fixing steves hair by putting a barrette in. 

Day with the Miller girls

After big sister takes all her toys all that was left for Mila to play with was my shoe. She laughed walking around like this for the longest time. 

Maci was playing phone this afternoon. She'd say "Hi Rich, it's Maci. How are you?" 

Bounce house

Ev continues to enjoy the bounce houses at the indoor playground on Tuesdays. As long as there's not too many kids or big kids in with her. Each week she tries something new. This week she followed Cooper and TJ into the big school bus, climbed up the tall ladder and slid down the slide. This little gal sure tries to keep up with the boys;)
