Last week in 2016

Tuesday at Playground for Kids getting lots of energy out;)

I continue to feel like a rockstar if I can get these two reds to nap at the same time:)

Thursday evening our library had a movie night, showing: Secret Life Of Pets. It was a cute movie and it was fun to share time with these two while my sister and Jason enjoyed supper out for her birthday.

Each day I feel so blessed to be able to share in the lives of these four kiddos. Although I have no pics Tyler comes over and gets to share in the chaos too;) Thank you to My husband for working hard so I can "play all day" as Ev tells me. I can't imagine a better way to spend my Tuesday's and Thursday's :)

Christmas 2016

I enjoy the holidays so much! It is such a wonderful time to spend with family, eat good food, teach grandpa how to do Sudoku, find surprise selfies from your niece and nephew and play Kratt Brothers. What a memorable weekend of love and laughter. Definitely lots of laughter:)

Thursday goofiness

Thursday we had a fun playtime at Coop's. The kids were having a ball jumping and playing in these mermaid and shark sleep sacs. They played Paw Patrol, Ghostbusters, and Coop read his Trolls book to Ev. Thanks for having us over:)

Tuesday play date

The kids enjoyed playing with all the Legos. Ev made her statue with all the pink and purple ones(because those are her favorite colors.) Then they played this fun game with Eden. Put her toy on her head. This brought about lots of giggles.

Girls Rule

Saturday we went downtown and bought lots of goodies at the winter farmers market. For lunch we finally checked out Fletchers in Ankeny. Everything was so good we would definitely go back. Afterwards we went to Tigerbowl in Madrid and bowled a couple games. Needless to say Steve was not happy with the score. Sunday am I found him watching YouTube videos on how to bowl. Lol.

Then Sunday I surprised them with a race at MB2 raceway. Both of them loved it and want to race again:)

Puppies

Tuesday we had a play date at Kim's house. Olivia was so sweet to share her room full of princesses and Shopkins. Ev was in heaven! Eden enjoyed playing with the puppy. For a 9 month old puppy he was a good sport with all of Edens grabbing.
Today Ev and Coop were puppies in their puppy houses. (We loved the extra mat Carol:) Instead of their cookies being in surprise eggs they ate them out of their doggy bowls.

Sleepover part three

Saturday morning we decorated for Christmas, made salt dough figurines and watched Christmas cartoons. After lunch I took the kids to Pump It Up. Cooper loved jumping and sliding on all the inflatables and Everlee proved she could keep up and do just what Coop could do. Chloe launched off the cliff all while smiling.

All that jumping and the kids decided on a treat from the Hyvee Bakery.

I'm not sure who enjoyed themselves more: the kids or me. To watch them play together, laugh together, and tell stories was so adorable. Being around them makes my heart and soul feel so youthful.   I love you three so much and am so happy that you like to spend time with your aunt and uncle.

Sleepover part two

Then finally what they were so excited for: Santa! He read a story to all the kids and then we lined up to see him.
Chloe and Cooper couldn't talk fast enough with him but Everlee was a bit shy. So, I jumped in the photo and we did a big group pic.
After the pic Ev and Coop gave him a big hug before leaving.

Once we arrived home the kids turned my Amazon Pantry box into an RV. In was also a sewer liar and a boat the next day. I've also been instructed to save it for when they come back;)

Sleepover part one

For several months Everlee has wanted to spend the night at our home with Chloe and Cooper. It finally worked so we took on the challenge Friday afternoon. I told the kids to be dressed in their pjs and I picked them up for our "pjs and pizza with Santa" at Blank Park Zoo.
These three were like giddy teenagers in the backseat. All talking a mile a minute with lots of laughter in between.

We walked around the indoor Discovery Center looking at all the animals.
Next the kids made ornaments to hang on their tree at home.

Then we had supper, colored pages and making a train and lots more laughter.

A fun week

Eden is so chill sitting with the ladies while the big kids played at Smiths on Tuesday. Thanks for having the gang over!
Today the kids played Johnny and Julia. Hollie was the mom and I was the dad.  They are too cute playing together. So much energy and creativity:)

Week of kids

Such a content little lady just smiling and playing.

Wednesday I watched the Miller girls. Maci and Mila play "mommy twins."  They line up the babies and call them all twins.

Thursday the kids wanted to play a new game:Elf on the Shelf. Hollie touched them, they lost their powers and fell to the couch. All while laughing hysterically.
