Saturday night while the guys watched football us girls made our own fun...in the hot tub...with cocktails...chatting...'til 1am!

Fun with Cooper

Friday while Hollie was helping with Chloe's fall festival I stayed with Cooper. I think back to a year ago when we moved to Polk City and Id come over to watch him. He'd cry when Hollie left, stare out the window, and not talk to me. Fast forward a year and he doesn't cry, hands me my favorite paw patrol (sky) and talks a mile a minute. 

Earlier in the am I had talked to my dad and he told me he was hauling cookies. So I told coop that papa was hauling cookies in his truck. He got out his semi, I took it into the kitchen, filled it with graham crackers and let him open the load. He thought this was the funnest and yummiest activity. Then coop went into the kitchen got snap peas, put them in the trailer, opened it, and ate them. 

I may not say it enough but I'm so thankful that Steve works so hard for us that it allows me to see our son, siblings, Neices, and nephew on a regular basis.

Cousin Thursday??

Yes we did have Hollie and Cooper over for a play date today but as the kids get all there energy out its hard to keep up with them let alone take a bunch of pics. I got nothing today:( 

Ev woke up to a surprise with Tyler being there. Tyler was watching some snapchat videos and Ev was interested in them too. Soon enough Ev, soon enough;)

Tuesday Fun

Building a BIG tower!

The reason we came to the library again: the choo choos. 

After iPad time she found a book with Ariel. She remembered her from her mermaid outfit from Chloe last week. 

Once we got home I found out she can have real "tea" aka(water) in her pot and cups. I like my tea with one cream and one sugar. Ev likes hers with one cream and two sugars. Imagine that;)

Extra Fun Thursday

Ev served us ice cream soup with chocolate on top. 

Thank you to cousin chloe for the dress up clothes. After nap Ev had a fun time dancing and twirling in her new outfits. 

Tyler and Micheal came down to talk DeadEye with Rich. Afterwards, we took the boys out to eat at Fuzzy's Tacos. We enjoyed the food and recommend it to everyone. It was fun to catch up and listen to some college stories. Oh to be young again;)

After school play

On Tuesdays when I pick Ev up from preschool she's so full of words and very chatty. Yesterday, she brought up the library and how her favorite part is playing with the choo choos. So I asked her if she wanted to go and she threw her hands up in the air and yelled, Yahoo! She played and explored the whole library in an hour and then wanted to go home and play on her play set. It's so fun to give Everlee the reigns and watch her learn and grow. 

Back in the swing of things

Ev thought my jacket looked just like Elsa's cape. 

It was so great to have Cooper and Hollie  back over to play. Ev greeted Cooper with a big hug and they were off running in a matter of seconds.
