Pure silliness

After the usual games we played Monster chase. I was the Monster and I would chase the kids, give them a poison apple to eat, they would give each other smooches to wake up and We'd do it all over again. Ev calls coops her "little prince". When they play it really melts your heart. In case your wondering who Ev's "big Prince" is she says its daddy. 

A few weeks ago

Victoria and the girls came for a visit. It was fun to get the Devos grandchildren together for a pic. 

Caden's Birthday Party

Today we had a fun time celebrating Caden's 4th birthday at Backyard Adventures. Ev has really come to look forward to playing with the boys on Tuesdays. After nap we checked out Ankenys newest old fashioned candy and soda shop: Rocket Fizz. Ev walked all around the store and finally decided on this box of Frozen gummies. She couldn't even make it out of the store before she ripped into the box and had to  taste one of those delicious gummie crowns:)

Happy 3rd Birthday Everlee

Last weekend we enjoyed celebrating Ev's birthday with family and friends. As each birthday comes around its always hard to believe she is one year older?! After all, this aunt and uncle are only 29, at heart;) I'm so grateful to be able to spend two days a week with this spunky redhead, enjoying her antics and watching her grow into a beautiful young gal. 

First ride of the year...

...for me anyway. Yesterday we leathered up and did a 100 mile ride, partly by accident. We always say you can't officially "get lost" when we're on the bike;)  After picking up meat at the locker in Maxwell, the owner gave us a recommendation to hit up his friends bar in Woodward, the Whistlin' Donkey. Once again we weren't disappointed and enjoyed this new watering hole. 

Office fun

The hotspot today was Rich's office. Spinning each other until they were dizzy and full of giggles. Then it always ends with snack time. This time they had to be right by each other. Or I should say Ev wanting to be right next to Coops;)

Play Group

With clouds in the sky and a chill in the air we played indoors after preschool today. Everlee always asks about the boys and is so excited to see them. Today she kept asking when they were going to turn the bubbles on. Finally they turned them on! She was so happy, she couldnt wait to jump up and catch the bubbles on her tongue;)

Gorgeous Day Outside

The kids spent the afternoon jumping, swinging, playing in the sandbox and lots of running. It was so fun to finally get back outside and soak up the sunshine!

Fun filled full day

A chilly but sunny afternoon so we bundled up and headed to Miracle Park with the boys. 

After the park Steve stopped by on the way to a meeting. Ev asked Steve if he wanted to watch Tangled with her and he of course was all in. 

After nap and supper I surprised Ev with letting her open her birthday gifts today! (It is birthday month after all) Surprise, surprise that her new Wild Kratts figurines ended up in a bowl of water. 

Boys will be boys

Entertaining Cooper while Hollie was at the dentist was pretty easy today. As long as I knew how to make farting noises with the Flarp...

And make some crashing and booming sound effects I was a perfect partner to play with:)

Nieces and nephew day

Easter has passed but the excitement of filling eggs with fruit snacks, waiting patiently on the steps, then finding them is still a fun weekly event at our play dates. 

The kids could barely sit still waiting for the pizza to bake. It was finally done and they could eat. All to devour these delicious triple chocolate cupcakes. 

Where does she come up with this stuff?

Our talks are always interesting when I pick Ev up from preschool on Tuesdays. These were her random thoughts today:

"I have something to show you Brigett at my house. It's a secret. The babies crib is up now." "What is Steve's favorite color? Is it grey? Because that's the color of his hair." "There was a bee in the house and my daddy flushed it down the kitchen sink. Like steve flushed that bug at your house down the toilet." 

After leaving my phone for two seconds to go to the bathroom I came back to these.
