With gorgeous weather outside and nothing to do inside we went on a 100 mile ride on Saturday. Our intention was to hit up a winery by Stuart but with having to drive on gravel for a mile we (Steve) decided against it. So we stopped at the local watering hole to watch the ISU game. As small towns would go the gentlemen sitting next to us told us his wife works at the winery and he had a bottle of wine and gave it to us. With no real plan on where to ride we took to the locals for advice and so began the rest of our day. Lunch at Westside in Earlham, Fat Randy's in VanMeter, Kennys Garage in Waukee, Stevie C's in Grimes, and home a few minutes before the rain started. These unplanned trips are my favorite:)
